Thank you for serving people who need most what you do best through career ministry! It’s a privilege and honor to be partnered with you!

This week’s note is all about the power that lies within prayer! 🙏🏼

It is Jesus who said,

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive it, and you will. (Mark 11:24)”

Jesus was encouraging the disciples, and of course, is encouraging us to have faith in the power of God. When it comes to job search and transition, we all benefit from accessing the faith that moves mountains!

Did You Know…?
The Prayer Network has alerts within the software that alerts us at The Job Connection when there is a life-threatening need. We are notified of certain keywords entered within the requests themselves. Words like depression, suicide, harm, etc. When we receive the alert we contact the closest church that can serve the needs of that person.

Your feedback is valuable!
I would love to hear from you how you are using prayer in your career ministry meetings as well as within the Job Connection itself.

Please email me at brian@thejobconnection.org with your ideas, suggestions, etc!

Sincerely,

Brian Horvath

In my interview with Anne Rand, of Willow Creek, she mentions how they love the Prayer Network because it’s “Where your name is shown and your prayer is known!”

In a recent conversation with Jim Carow, of Idlewild Baptist Church, he talks about how it’s not the interview expert who has the line at their career ministry gatherings, but it is the prayer table that gets top billing! 😇
